How can timeshare owners get the most out of their vacation time each year?
I always suggest being as organised as possible and putting your holiday requests in with 7Across as soon as possible. If your plans change, it’s easy for us to cancel your request.
If you can only travel in school holidays or at a particular time you can list your request 2 years in advance. I’m a timeshare owner myself and currently have my request listed for April school holidays 2021 as it’s the only time I can go. Always remember most of our availability does not show online as soon as it comes in - it gets matched and offered to members' requests first.
Always consider our Cancellation Protection Option (CPO) as it's stress free to cancel or change your holiday within 72 hours of traveling. CPO allows you to re-book your holiday for another time as long as your deposit credit is still valid - all this is only $29 for peace of mind.

Working in the timeshare industry, what tricks have you learnt or opportunities have you seen offered to members?
Always leave your requests open for a location rather than a particular resort. I have had members only wanting to go to Beach House or Beachcomber in Coolangatta on Australia's Gold Coast which are always in high demand, so I suggest they look at other Gold Coast Resorts and even other resorts around the region within a few hours drive as an alternative to get the best chance of booking an Exchange.
Lots of members have their one particular favourite resort, but you can always book your second choice, take out CPO and keep a request in for a swap over to your favourite resort if it becomes available in the meantime.
