PUSH PAUSE AT MURRAY VALLEY RESORT

DAE team member Shane recently re-discovered all that was on offer at Murray Valley Resort and he loved it all so much he simply could not keep it to himself!

Resort manager Toby joined Murray Valley Resort 18 months ago, and what a breath of fresh air he has brought to the resort, the grounds and the staff.

There’s such a genuine feel of energy and enthusiasm to be found when you walk in the doors to start your holiday.

The Yarrawonga / Mulwala region has seen an influx of holiday makers over the last few years with the city folks starting to appreciate how much a week away from the constant noise and buzz of town can truly revitalize us all. Murray Valley might just be one of the best places to step away from your phone, your emails and the city lights to give yourself the break and recharge you need.

There is a never ending list of additions, improvements and renovations going on… He is particularly proud of his wonderfully manicured grass; this coupled with the beautification of the main outdoor pool and BBQ’s, the central communal area of Murray Valley is looking fantastic and has become a favourite place for the guests to enjoy their break from the rat race.

If you are taking the kids, then you are in for a treat with an amazing list of facilities with indoor heated pools, outdoor pools, outdoor tenpin bowling, babies’ pool, full and half-size tennis courts, squash and racket ball courts, jungle gym, 18-hole mini golf, fishing rods and mountain bikes for hire and so much more.

For the older of us, there is so much to do and see in the area… If you are a golfer, 5 minutes down the road you will find the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf course which is home to 45 holes, so you could play all week by the Murray and never get bored. Golf not your thing? The Byramine Homestead is the local brewery and cider house that is packed with amazing flavours and even more local history, the local farm gate trail is one certainly not to miss to get a taste of all the amazing local produce, wine and cheese – Make sure you check out the award winning Rich Glen Olive Estate only a few minutes down the road from the resort.

I could go on and on about the resort and the area, but I will leave you with the most important tip of all… The Monday night meet and greet is in full swing at Murray Valley and certainly a favourite time of the week for all, so make sure you get along and meet Toby and your fellow guests for a great start to your week! (Don't forget to tell Toby, Warney says Hi!)
