McGaheysville, Virginia, United States

A large resort with beautiful vistas, Virginia's only quad chairlift and a vertical drop from 795 to 1,110 feet, the resort offers a thrilling challenge for skiers and snowboarders. However, this is a year-round resort with winter providing great skiing; summer allows for tennis, golf, hiking, fishing and a water park nearby. These condos include either townhouse-style or free-standing homes in a classic mountain resort style. They are a combination of one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos depending upon how they are locked out. One-bedroom/one-bathroom condos sleep four, two-bedroom/two-bath condos sleep six, and a three-bedroom/three-bath condo comfortably accommodates ten people with ample opportunity for privacy. A quiet resort that has a swimming pool, children's pool, exercise equipment, sauna, whirlpool/hot tub, spa, games room, playground area, telephone, auto rental, grocery store, laundry, medical facilities, restaurant, snack bar, shopping area, and conference facilities. There are several resorts within this property that share the incredible facilities. A sports person's dream regardless of time of year. Built on the side of a mountain there are stairs that take you to your destination within the resort. Make sure stairs are not a problem since there are a lot of them. The colors of the landscape range from white with snow, green and lush to the turn of the fall leaves of gold and browns. Washington, D.C. is a convenient day trip destination, but who'd want to leave? Enjoy the view at Massanutten and Shenandoah Villas.
