The cosy and comfortable detached cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the village conservation area, about 3 minutes walk from the beach. The cottage has a small sheltered roof-level garden looking out southwards over the valley. The patio and summerhouse there provide a relaxing retreat.
Downstairs, the cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, double oven, ceramic hob and extractor hood, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and a washing machine. The sitting room has an open fire, Freeview TV, PVR and DVD and CD players. There is a good selection of DVDs, books and games, as well as 2 further seating areas to relax in, and a shower room with wc/whb.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one a family room with a 5 foot bed and a single, the other with twin beds, and a bathroom with bath/whb/wc.
The small fishing village of Little Haven nestles in a sheltered, sandy cove at the southern end of St. Brides Bay in the Pembrokeshire National Park, on the West Wales coast. It provides an excellent base from which to explore the superb countryside, beaches, wildlife, history and culture of both South and North Pembrokeshire. The Pembrokeshire Coastal path runs through the village and there is a multitude of coastal and hill walks to be enjoyed in the area. Opportunities for water sports abound, including surfing, diving, sailing, kayaking, coasteering, and fishing. There are bird reserves on the islands of Skomer, with its puffins and shearwaters, and Ramsey. Seals pup in the rocky coves off the Deer Park and dolphins can sometimes be seen in St Brides Bay. Although there is a series of coastal bus services, largely serving walkers, a car is essential to access the best of Pembrokeshire.
The village itself has three pubs serving food, a café and
LOBSTER AND Mor which offers fresh lobster and crabs as well as local gins, rum, high end craft and local produce . Its safe, sandy beach, edged with rocks and pools, is joined to those of Settlands bay and Broad Haven at low tide. A convenience store in Broad Haven ¾ of a mile away provides all necessary supplies, but there are two large supermarkets in Haverfordwest, the market town, six miles away.
