Resort overview

An 18th-century Georgian Manor house is situated within 64 acres of beautiful grounds. The Macdonald Plas Talgarth Resort overlooks River Dyfi in the Snowdonia National Park, so the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes are outstanding. Guests can dine in the on-site restaurant and bar, and relax in the spa and leisure centre, which has an indoor/outdoor pool, tennis and squash court, children's pool, health club. There is also live family-friendly entertainment in the evenings.
A stay in Central Wales would not be complete without a visit to seaside area of Aberdyfi or the Precipice Walk at Dolgellau where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the ocean, river valley and mountains. Enjoy Inverewe Gardens, visit Powis Castle, and take some time to watch the dolphins at Mwyn Beach.  Visitors to the area can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities including waterskiing, windsurfing, boating, fishing, golf, and horseback riding all within six miles of the resort.
