Another great attraction is the Bat Trang Ceramic Village. Visitors can participate in pottery-making workshops and purchase already-made goods from local artisans. For those who like a little history, check out the Mausoleum of King Ngo Quyen. According to legend, as a teenager, he grabbed the horns of two fighting buffalos, scaring them so badly that they ran away. He grew up to become the general of Duong Dinh Nghe, the governor of Chau Hoan, Chau Ai. For some outdoor fun, check out the Tay Thien Pagoda, which covers around 148 hectares in a biosphere of nearly 500 plants and 300 species of wildlife.
