Resort overview

White Grass Ocean Resort is located on the north-west coast of the island of Tanna in the Vanuatu archipelago. Double Ocean Bures available through 7Across will suit singles or couples and are well-appointed, designed in a traditional style featuring local art. 

The rooms offer a mini-fridge, tea/coffee, laundry facilities, ceiling fans and a verandah to enjoy the ocean breezes. Enjoy a complimentary tropical breakfast daily as well as free use of all non-motorised sports equipment including kayaks and SUPs. WiFi is provided free of charge in the public lounge area. 

Around the resort there are a multitude of activities to keep you entertained and as active as you want to be. Jump on one of the free bicycles and enjoy an easy ride to a nearby village or beach with a prepared picnic lunch, or slip into the water and discover the incredible underwater world that opens up to you by snorkelling or diving. Explore the reef or take a run on the jogging track. Get a team together and have a game of beach volleyball or badminton – all equipment is free of charge. Venture a little further out on the reef in a kayak or take a whale watching or turtle tour. If that all sounds a little exhausting a trip to the Nabisa Spa may be just what you need. Further afield take a trip – and maybe even climb – up the Mt Yasur volcano and on the way stop to experience the local Vanuatuan culture and way of life with a guided village tour. 

One thing is for sure, there is no shortage of things to do on Tanna Island, and the best place to enjoy it all from is the White Grass Ocean Resort.
