Killington Chalet Snowkflak/Snowflur, noted as the best ski resort in the Northeast, is nestled less than five miles from the Killington ski area. Spectacular mountain views await visitors. Truly a four season resort, Killington  winter actvities include skiing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow-mobiling and while golf, swimming, fishing, biking and hiking can be enjoyed in the summer. Enjoy access to the pool & small gym at the North Star Inn.
Killington is home to two ski resorts, including Killington and Pico. There's Green Mountain National Golf Course voted "Vermont's #1 Public Golf Course" by Golf Digest. Besides skiing, there's amazing hiking on the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail.  The Long Trail is a 270 mile footpath that runs from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border for the day hiker, overnighter, and serious backpacker.  The Appalachian Trail is a beautiful 2,175 mile national trail running Georgia to Maine.  Killington has some of the most scenic areas of this trail including Thundering Falls
