Villas on the Lake at Lake Conroe, located in historic Montgomery, Texas, birthplace of the Lone Star flag, affords vacationers a great retreat.
All rooms come with complete kitchen facilities, ceiling fans, and fireplaces. A snack bar is also located on site, as well as barbecues, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and shuffleboard courts, a picnic area, movie rentals, and more.

The area is packed with things to do—fishing, boating, and trails exploring the Piney Woods of East Texas. Plan an excursion aboard the Southern Empress, an authentic replica of 19th Century paddle wheeler. Take the family to ride the rails on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, or spend the day touring the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site and see where Texas was won. For non-golfing and non-boating vacationers who love to shop, there are many beautiful antique shops all around the Lake Conroe area and old fashioned auctions on Friday and Saturday nights! For the bargain hunters, there is a Discount Outlet Center. For the arts and crafts shopper, there is ‘Old Town Spring’ which is a must see. 

 No matter what kind of shopper you are, you’ll love Old Town Spring located in Spring, Texas within 25 minutes from the resort. If you would like to venture further for an exciting day trip, you could visit Houston Space Center, about two hours away, or the Houston Space Center, about 2 hours drive away, or the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Planetarium,   just an hour away, or the Splashtown,  about 45 minutes drive. Beautiful Galveston Island is about 2.2 hours away.
