Inverness is located in beautiful Galveston, on Galveston Island in Texas. Galveston is an island packed full of attractions and activities to make your vacation one to remember. From one of America's leading historic districts, to a 32-mile stretch of sandy beach, you'll find plenty for all to do.

All of the resort’s condos are large two-bedroom units that will sleep six, with two baths, and a full kitchen. All units have a beautiful view with all balconies facing the Gulf of Mexico. For your enjoyment, there’s an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, lighted tennis court, basketball court, and a picnic and barbecue area. We also have a great exercise and sauna with a wide variety of equipment. Inverness by the Sea provides its guests with the use of a health club. 

This resort is the perfect place to stay and to enjoy all that historical Galveston has to offer. The famous Strand area and panoramic Gulf of Mexico views are within minutes from the Resort. Recommended attractions include: The Broadway Beauties: 1859 Ashton Villa, 1892 Bishop's Palace, 1895 Moody Mansion which portray early 20th century family life among Galveston's elite; The Grand 1894 Opera House ranked among the nation's finest historical theaters; the Texas Seaport Museum & 1877 Tall Ship Elissa highlighting the history of the Port of Galveston; The Great Storm documentary detailing the 1900 hurricane which killed 6,000 people and changed the island's history; the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig & Museum; and the Railroad Museum in the restored Union Depot. Harbor Tours offeing dolphin watching, and the Moody Gardens features an aquarium pyramid, a 3-D theater, a tropical rainforest pyramid, and a ride-film theater.
