The Wyndham Inn on the Harbor is an ideal destination for a family vacation.  The resort offers daily activities for children and weekly wine and cheese socials for adults.  The activities director is available to help plan day trips.  The social lounge, equipped with a full kitchen, is a great place to relax with board games, books, and a large-screen TV.  You can also head to the rooftop sundeck and watch the sunset.  End your day with live entertainment and dinner in the restaurant, or catch a drink in the bar or lounge.  The resort has handicapped access and laundry valet services.  Although there is no pool on the property, the resort provides complimentary pool passes to the nearby YMCA, about 4 miles away.
Nestled on the banks of Newport Harbor, Wyndham Inn on the Harbor is within walking distance of many attractions.  Tour the area from the comfort of a cruise or water taxi.  Visit local museums, art galleries, and artisan shops, spend a day brand-name shopping, or take the ghost walk.  Take a tour of the famous summer  "cottages" of the wealthy Astor and Vanderbilt families, among others, and glimpse early 20th-century high society living.  Play a round of golf or enjoy a game of tennis or racquetball.  Be sure to visit the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
