The Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn is everything you would expect from this private mansion turned Victorian-style resort hotel. Located about 10 miles West of Newport, and overlooking the beautiful Narragansett Bay, this is an ideal vacation destination. The gracious staff makes you feel at home in the 32 well-appointed guest units. On-site amenities include an outdoor pool, an exercise room, and laundry facilities. There is an elevator available and handicapped-accessible units. Located on Conanicut Island, Jamestown retains a true New England village feel, complete with a lighthouse that is more than 150 years old, a historic windmill, and ferryboats. The area offers many quaint and unique shops, art galleries, casual eateries, and elegant restaurants. The museums, parks, beaches, and marinas, treat visitors to a "you-can-have-it-all" vacation. While the warm summer months are popular, autumn brings stunning fall foliage and apple or pumpkin-picking opportunities. Spring is gentle and perfect for enjoying local gardens, and winter is something straight out of Currier and Ives. Other area attractions include tours of the Newport mansions, the semi-annual Newport Bermuda Yacht race, and Jai Alai. There is a casino in Newport, as well as several in nearby Connecticut. Jamestown is only 35 miles from Providence, 85 miles from Boston, and about a 3.5-hour drive from New York City.
