WorldMark Gleneden Beach
Resort overview
Worldmark Gleneden Beach is located on the Oregon Coast, where sea-stacks rise from the misty ocean and colorful kites dance in the wind. This is the perfect place for your next beach vacation. Nestled between Newport and Lincoln City, you'll be able to visit the working harbor in Newport, or see ocean denizens up close at the Oregon Coast Aquarium - where exhibits parade the wide range of variegated sea life.
When you're not playing in the sand and exploring the shore, you can stroll along the streets of Lincoln City and browse the many stores. If you have some extra time - about an hour - take a scenic drive up Highway 101 to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for a self-guided tour and scrumptious ice cream. In the evenings, relax at your resort and fall asleep to the soothing sound of waves rolling into shore.
Head out and take in the sights. Devils Punchbowl State Natural Area was named for a hollow rock formation shaped like a gigantic punch bowl. It's a popular whale-watching site. Climb the stairs of Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Oregon's tallest lighthouse. Active since 1873, the lighthouse features 114 stairs and stands 93 feet in height. Next stop is Cape Foulweather, discovered in 1778 by Captain James Cook. Cape Foulweather is one of the highest points along the Oregon coast at 500 feet.
The breathtaking Oregon Coast is a beautiful destination for your unforgettable vacation!
