This resort includes an 18-hole PGA golf course for golfers, or if tennis is your passion, spend the day in pursuit of the perfect tennis game on one of eight clay tennis courts or one of two hard courts. Afterward, relax in the heated outdoor pools. The on-site health club includes a fitness facility, a heated indoor pool, two saunas, and two hot tubs. Kids will enjoy the recreation center, which is open every day, year-round. Families can rent movies or video games and play miniature golf. Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley is the perfect location for a full range of outdoor activities. Fishing, canoeing, and paddle boats are available on nearby Fairfield Lake, and horseback riding, hiking, and biking trails offer all-day recreation. Visit the Highlands Museum of American Cut and Engraved Glass a short ten-minute drive away. Mineral and gem museums are less than 30 miles away. In the wintertime, the Sapphire Valley Ski Area has an innovative quad-lift, a 500-foot tube run, and a learning slope, plus a ski clothing shop. Spend the afternoon snowboarding and downhill skiing.
