A Place at the Beach III offers a wonderful beachfront vacation and plenty of amenities and activities to make great memories. At A Place at the Beach III, guests can swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, slip down a waterslide, fish, or skin dive. Boating, deep-sea fishing, and waterskiing are also available within two miles. Five miles away, the Olympus Dive Center offers a scuba diving shop and daily charters. Golfers have 12 options for golfing 18-hole courses in the area, and be sure to visit Fort Macon State Park with a restored Civil War fort. A credit card deposit is required at check-in for incidental charges.
Vacationers flock to the pristine shores of Atlantic Beach in the summer, enjoying the many public beach access points and the long stretch of white sands. There's never a dull moment in this area as there are plenty of amusements and activities day and night. Spend a day with the kids flying kites, building sandcastles, or searching for sand diggers (the harmless, tiny crab-like creatures that play under the sand).
