Resort overview
Superior Shores is a fully equipped three bedroom, two bathroom, property to accommodate eight guests.
The home is a multi-level unit with comforts galore. There is a sauna on one level and a Jacuzzi on another. One side is a wall of windows that look out onto the beautiful lake. The decoration has a north woods theme. It gives one that comfortable cabin in the wilderness sensation. It has a fireplace to warm the evenings and a large deck on which to take in the fresh air and scenery. The building is secluded in the trees. The lakeside is nearby, all windows look out onto the beautiful Lake Superior, the largest fresh water lake in the world. Level 2, the main level, there is a living room with comfortable sofa bed, chairs and a fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen. Small sitting room with Jacuzzi that looks out on the lake. Bedroom with queen sized bed. Bathroom with shower and bath. Deck off the sitting room. On Level 1 is a recreation room, a washer and dryer in an enclosed area and sauna. On Level 3 is a large bedroom with king-sized bed. Sitting area with small table and chair and skylight overhead. Bathroom with sinks and shower. On Level 4 is a small loft bedroom with two twin beds.
The Resort is situated in sixty wooded acres with over a mile of Lake Superior coastline, including a 2000 foot pebbled beach. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, hiking and cross country ski trails, an 18-hole golf course and access to snowmobile trails are on-site or nearby.
Superior Shores in situated on a beautiful bay on the shore of Lake Superior, one mile from Two Harbors, which has a large grocery store and a variety of restaurants and facilities. It is thirty miles from Duluth, a harbour city of Lake Superior that has the amenities of a larger city.
Depending on the time of year, the location of the property provides a variety of recreational opportunities. In the winter, it is within a mile of the Superior Trail which provides groomed cross country ski trails for 100 miles. In the summer the area is filled with hiking and boating opportunities. It is within a short drive of the Boundry Waters National Park where one can canoe into wilderness areas of incredible beauty.
