Other worthwhile adventures of the nature walk variety include a visit to Laudholm Farm (cross country ski trails- winter) or The Carson trail at Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge visitor center..Or you can opt for a little less nature & walk & shop the quaint villages of Perkins Cove or Kennebunkport. Boat tours are another way to enjoy Maine; there are lobster & whale tours, deep sea fishing, cocktail cruises & more. Venture a little further to enjoy great historic small cities such as Portland’s Old Port or over the state line into Portsmouth NH.
