Resort overview

The Courtyards is a charming 165-year-old renovated porte-cochere townhouse in New Orleans' world-renowned French Quarter. 

The resort offers a convenient grocery store, a laundry room and restaurant. The Courtyards offers and complimentary breakfasts. Six rooms feature private baths, central air and heat, Internet modem jacks, cable TV and Wi-Fi connections. Three 19th century buildings connect this timeshare resort. The six rooms are the front carriage house, with a king bed, wonderful artwork, antiques, Italian tile floors and a small sitting area.  The back carriage house, opening onto the front courtyard (all pond and fountains) has 12-foot ceilings, the original wide plank, heart pine floors, custom built-in granite topped furniture, with a king bed, window seat, plantation shutters, Italian tile bath with a spa tub. There's a courtyard bedroom, opening onto the front courtyard with 12 ft. ceilings, king size custom made mahogany bed with mosquito netting and marble floors. The peach blossom room has hand painted walls to resemble antique, Chinese silk and gorgeous antiques. The small suite is great for a couple or pretty cozy for three or four, with a full size sleeper sofa, huge bedroom with king bed. The suite is a custom made Barbados-style beach house..

The resort is located within walking distance of a variety of sites, such as restaurants, antiques shops, art galleries, museums, and the Mississippi River. After an exciting day experiencing New Orleans' Creole and Cajun cuisine and incomparable jazz, relax in the resort's lush courtyard and enjoy New Orleans at its best. When you're rested, shop for antiques on Royal Street, visit the casino, or stroll the bars and clubs of Bourbon Street.

Checkin times are between 2pm and 6pm; must contact resort in advance for late arrival appointments. Resort only has 6 units, and all units have steps. Resort is not suitable for handicapped people, or people with walking difficulties.
