Check in procedures:
• All weeks are scheduled Saturday 4 PM check-in through Saturday 10 AM checkout.
• Normal check-in time is between 4 PM and 5 PM on Saturday only.
Regardless of your arrival date and time. you must call the office to get two combinations one for the GATE and the UNIT, or email mardigrasmanor@aol.com
• No early check in or late check out allowed. We ask your cooperation in this matter so that the unit can be cleaned for the next occupant.
• Please call the office at (504) 524-0370 to make arrangements if you want to drop off baggage earlier than 4 PM on Saturday. Upon your departure, the latest your luggage can be held at the Manor is 1 PM.
• Reservation confirmation documents are required upon checking-in per resort policy.
• If you will be arriving after 5 PM on Saturday, please call the office at (504) 524-0370 no more than two days before your confirmation date to get combinations for the gate and your unit.
• If you arrive after 5 p.m. on Saturday only, you may call the emergency number (504) 889-4516 to obtain the gate and unit combinations.
• There is a $150.00 US Dollar deposit ($500 for special events) due upon arrival and refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the unit.
• The deposit must be in the form of a check. Mardi Gras Manor does NOT accept cash nor credit cards. Only checks are accepted.
• Failure to follow check in and check out procedures will result in a loss of the deposit.
• The deposit will be mailed back to you upon proper check in and check out procedures and satisfactory inspection of the unit.
*Prices and procedures are subject to change by Mardi Gras Manor at any time and without notification.
Parking:
Mardi Gras Manor does not have parking spaces. Parking in the French Quarter is very limited. If you are flying to New Orleans, we recommend that you not rent a car. If you do bring a car, we can suggest some parking lots.
Units:
• Mardi Gras Manor is a historic unique urban structure built prior to the 1840s with brick walls.
• New Orleans has high humidity. Please take this into consideration if you have severe allergies.
• No handicapped units are available. We cannot guarantee the use of a unit with no steps.
• All Units are non-smoking
• Smoking is permitted in designated patio area only.
• Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced.
• Units #2 and #9 have a spiral staircase inside the unit. The kitchen and den are located downstairs while the bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs.
• Mardi Gras Manor will not honor upgrades nor changes to assigned units.
• Mardi Gras Manor will provide a towel exchange on Wednesdays, but there is no mid-week cleaning service.
Front desk hours of operation : 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM On Monday (Tues OFFICE is CLOSED) Wednesday Thursday, and Friday SAT HOURS are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Sunday the office is CLOSED If you will be arriving after 5 PM on Saturday, please call the office at (504) 524-0370 no more than two days before your confirmation date to get check-in instructions
