As you know Hawaii continues to enforce its COVID travel rules of a 10-day mandatory self-quarantine. The Governor has been trying to move forward incrementally to open travel in a controlled order. If you would like to avoid the 10-day mandatory self-quarantine on your next trip to Hawaii, here is a summarized to do list: • Effective Thursday, July 8, 2021, any traveler vaccinated on the mainland will be able to upload their proof of vaccination to their Hawaii Safe Travels account. You must also bring your vaccination card with you when going through the airport travel screening process at any Hawaii airport. If you have not been vaccinated, you are still required to obtain a negative pre-travel test prior to arriving to the State. • Each traveler needs to create a Hawaii Safe Travels account on the Hawaii Safe Travels website. • Input your travel itinerary into your Safe Travels account. If you need assistance with login or technical issues, call the Safe Travels Program: 1-800-GOHAWAII (1-800-464-2924) between 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Hawaii Standard Time. Domestic and International callers are accepted. • Obtain a negative COVID test result from a TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS within 72 hours from the final leg of departure. https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/ • Upload your negative test results into your Safe Travels account. • You will receive a notice 24 hours prior to your departure time to the Hawaiian Island to complete the Mandatory State of Hawaii Travel and Health Form via your Hawaii Safe Travels account.
