With a name like The Hammocks at Marathon, this resort's biggest draw is obvious. It's pure relaxation. 

Just before you begin to cross the Seven-Mile Bridge that takes you to the Lower Florida Keys, you'll find an appealing haven dedicated to your comfort. This is the Hammocks at Marathon, where condo-style resort apartments offer balconies and plenty of comfort. An outdoor pool, hot tub, and bar are provided on site. Snorkeling and fishing are available seven miles away at Curry Hammock State Park and charter boats are just a block away. All rooms have flat-screen cable TV, microwave, and coffee-making facilities. Extras include a hairdryer, desk, and ironing facilities.

Guests can enjoy fishing charter services and water sports rentals for an additional fee. Other amenities include a computer in the lobby with access to copy and fax services and free on-site parking. The property is also an eight-minute drive from Sombrero Beach.
