The Maverick is located in a quiet, family-oriented part of the Daytona resort area. This location affords vacation-goers close proximity to all of Daytona's great attractions, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. 

A total of 138 studios and one-bedroom apartments which all face the broad, sandy beach and there's an on-property pool and hot tub for even more water enjoyment. This classic resort stands on the longest beach front that still allows driving on the beach, a favorite past time of the locals. Before NASCAR and the Daytona Speedway there was racing in the sand from Ormond Beach to Ponce Inlet and back. The Maverick Resort is situated in a perfect location and just a one-hour car ride to many attractions. From Disney World to NASA, there is something for everyone. This part of Florida boasts a range of interesting sports from kite surfing to motorsports. It is home to nesting sea turtles, migrating Right whales, incredible bird watching and year round dolphin activity. 

Stop by the activities department and let them help you arrange anything from dinner cruises to deep sea fishing excursions and tee times. On-site activities abound as well, ranging from orientation sessions complete with coffee and donuts to jewelry-making classes and bingo games. 

You'll love Ormond Beach - the perfect location. It's close enough to Daytona to give you access to all the excitement, but quieter, so you can enjoy the beach in peace.
