The Sierra Buttes Mountains are a stunning backdrop for Villas at Nakoma, a resort with Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architectural design in Clio, California. 

Accommodations are studio, one-, and two-bedroom villas. Each unit wraps around a central stone fireplace and features a private patio with hot tub, spa-style bathrooms, and first-rate amenities. Units have kitchen facilities, air conditioning and a DVD player. The golf course appeals to a broad range of players who will enjoy its serenity and picturesque beauty. A golf shop, restaurant, and bar are also on-site. 

Near the resort, you’ll find referrals for babysitting services, bars and cocktail lounges, bicycling trails, and day spas.  The resort has a clubhouse, a sauna and a well-equipped exercise room, along with laundry facilities and a restaurant. There’s also an indoor pool. Close by, resort guests will find facilities for fishing and golf, as well as cross-country skiing in season. Your recreational choices are seemingly endless. There’s a marina and boat launch, horseback riding stables, outdoor pools and an ice rink. If you want to play tennis or racquetball or go waterskiing, ask at the desk for assistance booking your favorite activities. Just for fun, plan a visit to  the Western Pacific Railroad Museum, then stop in for a tasting at Eureka Peak Brewing or Indian Peak Vineyards.
