Resort overview
Located in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, Americana Village features a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, a dry sauna, an exercise room, and a recreation area. The resort's solarium can supply equipment for a variety of different sports. Bicycles are available May through October (weather permitting). For warm weather activates, the resort is only a mile from Lake Tahoe and 40 miles from the Truckee River, which offers white water rafting. In winter, ski Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood, or one of the 13 other ski areas around the lake. Enjoy the outdoors in winter? The Lake Tahoe area is one of the world's premier skiing and snowboarding destinations, with 22 ski resorts (the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America). Love warm weather? The golfing here consistently ranks among the best in the country. Plus, there's boating, kayaking, jet skiing, beaches, campgrounds, mountain biking, hiking, and rock climbing, to name just a few of the many local attractions. The nights are exciting, too. The main focus is the Stateline casino corridor with its combination of comedy, headliner entertainment, and superb restaurants and shopping.
