WorldMark Pismo Beach
Resort overview
This classic beach town is located on California's famous central coast, half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles along Pacific Coast and 101 Highways.
The resort is “pure California” with fresh sea air instead of air conditioning and a wide variety of one-bedroom condo-style accommodations with kitchens or kitchenettes, sofa sleepers and Murphy beds in some units.
The "Butterfly Trees" of Pismo Beach are one of our most beloved attractions. From late October through February, thousands of colorful Monarch butterflies cluster in the limbs of Eucalyptus and Monterey Pines in the area, giving the appearance of yellow and orange leaves. They travel over the Sierra Mountains and west of the Rockies. Some come from as far away as Canada to escape the colder temperatures of the north. Beautiful! The area offers long white beaches for taking a pleasant stroll or for just enjoying the spectacular views of the Pismo Beach sunset. Enjoy Pismo Beach's great weather. Take advantage of the ocean breezes and fly a kite on the beach, go whale watching or take a biplane or hot air balloon ride. The area boasts fresh water lakes and salt water for fishing or swimming. Or take a leisurely walk on the award-winning boardwalk adjacent to the Pismo Beach pier. Rent a convertible and crank the Beach Boys music while you venture north to Hearst Castle, the palatial home of the late publisher William Randolph Hearst. They also have evenings when the staff is dressed in period clothing for the tours. Great fun!
Whether you go clamming, tour the castle, or just relax with a good book and a great view, you’re going to love WorldMark Pismo Beach. Enjoy!
