Nob Hill Inn
Resort overview
Marble floors, rich wood accents, beautiful antiques, brass beds, and beautiful crown molding create a quaint and intimate feel. Nob Hill Inn is in the center of luxurious living built in the last half of the 19th century and home of the railroad tycoons and successful gold miners of days past. Step through the glass doors of the Nob Hill Inn and be transported back to the golden age of San Francisco .
Nob Hill Inn was built in 1907 as a private home and has now been lovingly restored to maintain the ambience of a turn-of-the-century townhouse. All units are furnished in Edwardian style, with a mixture of antiques and modern. Functional accents include telephone, color television and hair dryer. For your comfort, light housekeeping is provided daily. All rooms have private baths, many with traditional claw-foot tubs. The one- and two-bedroom suites include kitchenettes. There are fireplaces in most units. Don't miss the daily afternoon tea and sherry.
Although children are welcome, and families are well accommodated in the two bedroom suites, due to the intimacy of this resort, Nob Hill is more suited for couples or singles who would like to have some time alone experiencing San Francisco. There is a $35.00 daily fee for parking two blocks away if traveling with a car but in San Francisco there are many public transportation options such as taxis, trolleys and bus transit to move you around the sights of this fabulous city. To reach the entrance of Nob Hill you must venture up Pine Street which is on an incline. The facility is not handicap accessible.
For a romantic getaway, step back in time and experience San Francisco's Nob Hill Inn.
