Tresco
Resort overview
Tresco is a beautiful island measuring about two and a half miles long by a mile wide at its broadest point and is one of the five inhabited islands which, together with 200 or so islets and rocks, form the Isles of Scilly. Lying 28 miles south west of Land's End they enjoy a year-round mild climate.
If you are staying in a cottage, Tresco Stores can provide groceries ranging from the essentials to the gourmet and will deliver so no need to carry heavy bags. Bicycles are available for hire, and a golf-buggy (limited availability) for the disabled. Various dinghies and power-boats are available for hire during the season, and there are regular boat trips to other islands, as well as circular trips to see puffins, seals and seabirds.
All of the beautiful properties at Tresco are furnished to a very high standard in a style sure to suit all tastes; they are fully equipped with all of the facilities you would expect.
Most of the Timeshare cottages are part of old Tresco, traditional cottages built years ago of granite and slate and brought comfortably up to date. Each one is different; some self-catering holiday cottages are in rural positions, other cottages are on the beach. The cottages sleep from two to ten people and all of them have a well-maintained sub-tropical garden or patio in which to relax.
Please see www.tresco.co.uk for information on the individual cottages.
