The lovely holiday apartments at Kilconquhar Castle Estate are situated just twelve miles from the famous golf course of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. It has a spectacular and scenic coastline, dotted with little fishing villages, that run from Largo to St. Andrews. In between there are castles and historic monuments, harbours and beaches, antique and craft shops, and of course, the best links golf courses in the world. White-washed houses, pan tiled roofs, crow-stepped gables, fishing boats, lobster creels stacked on weathered quaysides, swooping gulls, they all come together here in a blend that is truly unique. Throughout Fife, which is in east central Scotland jutting out into the North sea, you will find the atmosphere friendly and relaxing. And there is plenty to see and do, from the delightful fishing villages of the East Neuk to St. Andrews, the golfing centre of the world and from the rolling hills of the Howe to the historic capital of Dunfermline.
The luxurious holiday villas and apartments at Kilconquhar Castle Estate in Fife, Scotland are tastefully furnished to a very high standard. All units are equipped with TVs, DVD, CD & video player, telephone with voicemail, linens and towels. The fully equipped kitchen include a dishwasher, microwave, washer/drier and there is also outdoor patio furniture. Most units have a Jacuzzi bath and a double sofa bed. Dogs are allowed on the Resort.
Guests have full use of all leisure facilities on site. BBQ's can be hired from the Resort. Facilities on site include a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium, health suite, snooker, table tennis, badminton, kids' area, gymnasium, shop and hairdresser. Outdoor activities include an equestrian centre, tennis, golf driving range, putting greens, mountain bikes, children's play area, laser clay pigeon shooting, archery, air rifle, football pitch and pitch and putt. Kilconquhar also has onsite the Lindsay Room Restaurant, a baronial room with 16th century oak panelled walls, ornate ceiling and large open stone fireplace. Tuesday night in the Lindsay Room features a wonderful Taste of Scotland evening full of entertainment and fabulous cuisine. The White Cockade Bistro is a friendly family bistro and bar open all day every day for snacks and meals. There are also special weekly themed evenings and entertainment. The tranquil resort of Kilconquhar is set in its own beautiful landscape setting. Some of the apartments at this Resort may not be suitable for disabled, as there are no lifts and a number of stairs.
