Nearby you are able to enjoy golf, horse riding, surfing, sailing, diving, fishing, scenic coastal walks, nature trails at Slapton Ley Reserve and, of course, moorland hikes on magnificent Dartmoor. Alternatively you can explore the historic towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge with their cobbled streets, small shops and ancient buildings. In addition, this part of South Devon is blessed with an unusually mild climate, so mild that Salcombe has the largest Subtropical garden in mainland England! Nestling in its own secluded valley within the South Devon National Trust Coastal Park, Hope Barton Barns is an exclusive group of traditional stone barns just a short walk from the sea. Each one has its own distinctive character, and has been sensitively converted by local craftsmen to complement and enhance its rural environment by using original features such as exposed beams, stonework and brick arches. Attention to detail has created self catering cottages and self catering apartments of rare quality, to be enjoyed throughout all the seasons of the year in Devon. Hope Barton has its own private farm of pastures, streams, trout lakes, woodland and bracken covered hills. Standard Charge for Electricity studio and 1 bed units £30 2 bed units £35 3 or 4 bed units £40 per week Pets are allowed at a charge of £25 per dog per week. Only one dog allowed in a 1 bedroom unit. 2 dogs are allowed in 2 bedroom but a maximum of 2 dogs only per stay. Please note:- all the units at this resort are very different and some have steep stairs. If any member in your party has mobility issues please check with our team before booking
