The 35-acre Langdale Estate set in heart of the English Lake District is a natural woodland haven with streams and tarns, dotted with massive millstones and other carefully preserved reminders of its history as a 19th century gunpowder works. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely part of the Lake District National Park. The fully equipped Chapel Stile Apartments in Cumbria are situated in a delightful village setting, just a few minutes' stroll from the Langdale Estate. Converted from an old Cumbrian farmhouse, the apartments are set in gardens that run down to the Great Langdale Beck, enjoying marvellous views of the surrounding fells. Some of England's finest walking country is right on our doorstep - so too is Wainwrights' Inn, with its excellent food and Lakeland hospitality. Accommodation includes 1 double bedroom (All Apts), 1 twin bedroom (Apts 2, 7, 9, 8 & 10), 1 bunk bedroom (Apt 5), 1 double pull down bed in lounge (All Apts). Ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bath (Apt 8). Separate bathroom with shower over bath (Apts 2, 5, 7 & 9). Separate shower room (Apts 10, 8, Apt 8 has sauna). All Apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and dvd player in the lounge. The Chapel Stile Apartments, part of the Langdale Estate which offers guests numerous on site facilities including restaurants, bars, a traditional Lake District Pub plus extensive Leisure and Spa Facilities.
