Aegean Park Apartment in Altinkum, Turkey is a fully equipped, two bedroom property to accommodate six guests.
Accommodation: Large entrance hall with cupboard for extra storage. Lounge with a three piece suite consisting of a three seater sofa that changes into a sofabed for two guests, two armchairs, coffee table, satellite television, dvd player, table and chairs for six, air conditioning and a door leading onto the furnished balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, electric hob, gas oven, extractor fan, microwave, large worktop space and all the usual kitchen utensils and crockery. Two bedrooms, master bedroom with a double bed, air conditioning, wardrobe and dressing table and twin bedroom with two single beds and a wardrobe. Bathroom with a corner bath with shower mixer taps, vanity style sink with mirror and shaving point and washing machine.
On site facilities include a Reception, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Restaurant, Pool Bar, Mini Market and Live Entertainment in the summer months.
Aegean Park Apartment on the Aegean Park Resort in Altinkum, Turkey is ideally located only a few minutes walk to the nearest bar, restaurants and supermarket. It is only a five minute drive by bus, dolumus or taxi to the main beach at Altinkum or the many bars and restaurants’ around Dolphin Square. There is a regular bus service from the resort to Altinkum main beach and on a Saturday it is just a ten minute stroll to the Didim Market.
Altinkum on Turkey’s beautiful Aegean coast is conveniently situated about one hour’s drive from Bodrum. Here you will find a true taste of Turkey and enjoy a splendid mix of influences with many Turkish and cosmopolitan restaurants, shops of all shapes and sizes and a large Saturday street market.
The whole area is steeped in history, with the famous ruined temple of Apollo only a few minutes drive away. The Roman city of Ephesus was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is regarded as the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor. The coastal area around Didim is known as Altinkum ‘Golden Sands’, and the area certainly lives up to its name with miles of glorious coastline framed by a spectacular mountain backdrop.
Try the excellent local meat and seafood or the many international restaurants or spend a day trying the many watersports on offer and finish by enjoying the lively nightlife scene. Shopaholics will love the many market stalls and bazaar traders, where great bargains on rugs and gold jewellery can be found. Each night, the promenade comes alive with families strolling up and down to the sounds of live Turkish music. As many European visitors who are drawn back year after year will happily confirm, the locals are warm and welcoming, encouraging visitors to enjoy the exotic delights of a place where East meets West.
