This pleasant 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the elevated complex of El Puente 2 in the urbanisation of Calahonda. The complex offers a lovely, large communal pool area and has cooling undercover areas featuring plants and benches throughout the complex. Although the complex is in the upper parts of Calahonda, it is only a few minutes drive to the local facilties including a golf course, tennis club and restaurants, bars and shops. This second floor apartment features free WiFi and A/C. The accommodation consists of lounge/diner furnished with a dining table and chairs, a curved sofa and a TV. The lounge area leads out onto the south facing terrace fitted with comfy arm chairs, a terrace sofa and a table and 2 chairs. There are also 2 sunbeds. The compact kitchen is fully fitted and features a convenient hatch through to the dining area. The master bedroom is fitted with a double bed, built in wardrobes and benefits from an en suite bathroom and access to the terrace. The guest bedroom is fitted with twin beds and uses the guest shower room. Sitio de Calahonda is a large urbanisation between Marbella to the east and Fuengirola to the west and is part of La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa. Calahonda has grown to extend from the coast up into the wonderful green hills, and although there is a lot of development, Calahonda has managed to maintain a natural and rural environment and many green areas including 4 golf courses. Calahonda is more like a small town and offers every amenity to the residents. There are commercial centres with supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops and bars and a large array of sports facilities including a gym as well as tennis, padel and squash courts, and water sports available on the beach. Calahonda is a short distance from the marina of Cabopino, were there are more restaurants, bars and great sandy beaches to be found, as well as the pleasure of gazing at the yachts and boats. To fully enjoy the area we would recommend hiring a car however there is a seasonal bus service to Fuengirola which stops near the apartment outside of the restaurants that runs along the main road through the urbanisation. Calahonda also has an access point to the toll road, making touring around the Costa del Sol and the many towns and villages in the vicinity quick and easy.
