South facing Macdonald Villacana is a resort within a resort; part of a friendly village where sun-dappled walkways meander through fountained courtyards and tall palms lead down to a superb sandy beach. Close to Estepona, Marbella and the jet-set harbour of Puerto Banus, Macdonald Villacana is a traditional resort, noted for its fine food, wine, and first class service. The excellent Safari Park is just 4km from Macdonald Villacana and provides an excellent day out, with botanical gardens, a spectacular walk and safari drive. Close to the Resort, you will find a host of leisure activities from horse riding, bowling, clay pigeon shooting, golf, aqua parks, casinos, archery, volleyball and watersports. There is a nearby Dive School where experienced divers can explore the Mediterranean, or beginners can learn the essentials and obtain their first dive qualifications. Macdonald Villacana Club offers a selection of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments, all equipped with air-conditioning, telephone, safe deposit box, television, dvd player, fully fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. On site facilities include a bar and restaurant located beside the main outdoor swimming pool, along with the leisure centre. Here you will find the indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, together with snooker room and outdoor tennis courts. The Resort has its own well stocked supermarket, with fresh produce delivered daily. Snack meals, ice creams and drinks are served around the pool during the day. In the evening the poolside restaurant provides an enticing A la Carte menu together with popular speciality evenings. Regular evening entertainment includes a flamenco show, local musicians and singers. The Villacana Club is part of a quiet, friendly village where sun dappled walkways meander through fountained courtyards and tall palms lead down to the sandy beach.
