El Tarter in Andorra is situated in the town of Ransol, in a beautiful valley, 15km away from Andorra La Vella, a city ideally suited for shopping, and 16km away from the French border. Many other skiing resorts Arinsal, Arcalís, Pal, Pas de la Casa are available between two and 35km from the Resort. 900m away you will find the skiing resort of El Tarter and 4km away is Canilló, a city with many kinds of activities. Andorra, a tiny principality in the Pyrenees, is renowned for tax-free shopping and an excellent ski area. Its surroundings allow numerous cultural visits including a Roman church, typical small villages and a great choice of sporting activities for the whole family including ice skating, horse riding, rafting, trekking, archery, and much more. A twenty minute drive will take you to Caldea, the largest health spa in Europe, which offers, 6000 square meters of indoor and outdoor lagoons, saunas, jacuzzi, pools, Indo-roman baths, warm marble and treatments.
