Resort overview

Agama Tented Camp offers accommodation to guests visiting the Namaqualand region in fully furnished, en-suite permanent tents. The camp is situated in a tranquil and secluded valley on a ±8000 hectare family farm. Located in the world famous Namaqualand flower region 20 km north of Garies. 

All tents sleeps 2 guests in a king size double bed (or two single beds), all linen, towels, etc. are provided and all tents are fully serviced daily. The tents are not self catering and all meals (traditional to this area) are served in the dining room. Buffet dinner and English breakfast are included. Drinks are served in the pub at the swimming pool area. The tents all have their own private bathrooms and spacious decks from where you can absorb this relatively unexplored part of the country. 

Whether it is a hike or huddling around a fire in the Kookskerm (Boma), Agama Tented Camp will touch all your senses and offer you an unforgettable experience.

Important notes: there is no mobile phone reception, no electricity and guests must bring torches or headlamps. Please do not use the directions given by Google Earth or Google maps. Despite many attempts to have it rectified, Google Earth and Google Maps will still attempt to take you to the camp via ancient roads which are not in use anymore.
