Protea Hotel Karridene Beach is located on the Kwazulu-Natal Natal South Coast, between the Umzimbazi Lagoon and Illovo Beach, and within 10 km of Amanzimtoti. 

The Flat Blocks offer private fully equipped and tastefully furnished, self-catering apartments. These four timeshare blocks are made up of six flats per block, consisting of two- and three-bedroom apartments with en-suite bathrooms. These feature an open plan lounge, a well-equipped kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, a private sea-facing balcony and two bathrooms. Air conditioned for absolute comfort, each apartment has its own telephone and DSTV and are serviced daily. Recreational facilities include video games, pool table, sauna and various outdoor facilities, which includes trampolines, a paddling pool and a kiddies park. At the centre of the resort is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Showers, baths, shaving points and hair dryers are also provided in the ablution blocks. If you're a sport-lover, a multitude of activities awaits you. The resort offers volleyball, table tennis, squash, mini-golf, and a swimming pool.
