Shearwater on Sea perches in the laidback seaside town of Sedgefield in the middle of the Garden Route, just fifty meters away from the beautiful sun-soaked Myoli Beach. The only resort that close to the ocean. The self-catering units come with a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable open-plan design, fresh décor and a patio with braai/BBQ facilities. Freshen up with a plunge in the pool while the kids work off some energy in the play area or have fun in the games room, both of which are safely situated in the centre of the Resort. Sedgefield draws water sport lovers from all over the globe, with everything from kite surfing to boating, canoeing, windsurfing, water skiing, sailing and even paragliding. Nature lovers flock here for the abundance of fascinating fauna and flora. And bird watchers have several distinctly different eco-systems to go twitching. From one side the breeze brings you the tang of Indian Ocean and from the other, the fresh scent of pine trees. Swartvlei Beach lies to the west, providing a safe estuary for bathing while also providing some excellent fishing. Near Gericke's Point, you will discover beautiful rock formations including the famous Lion Rock. There are many hiking trails with lovely picnic spots. Watch for whales, go for walks in the beautiful Goukamma Nature Reserve or drive to Storms River Mouth and the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve. The Cango Caves are only a short drive away and there are many golf courses nearby. Come spread your wings at Shearwater on Sea.
