Built on the site of a traditional fisherman's yard within a conservation area, the development retains many traditional features, including the external stone walls. Completed in 2008, the internal decor and furnishing are of a very high standard.

Principle rooms: First floor lounge/dining area with a flat screen digital television and dvd player. The bright and sunny kitchen, also on the first floor, has been newly fitted with hob, oven, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer. The double bedroom is on the second floor with wonderful views of the historic Church. On the ground floor is a spacious twin bedded room, which has two pull-out beds, if required. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and there is an additional toilet on the ground floor.
Outside living areas: There are shared courtyard areas to the front of the house, with a table and chairs provided. A dedicated parking space for one car is available in the courtyard.

Distance from town: Anstruther has a range of shops, bars and restaurants and is within fifteen minutes drive of the lovely town of St. Andrews. In Anstruther you can stroll along the picturesque seafront and around the harbour, visit the Scottish Fisheries Museum, take a boat out to the Isle of May for fantastic views and the chance to see a variety of wildlife or try some fresh fish and chips from the many seafront restaurants including 'Britain's Best Chip Shop 2009'.
Area activities: Exploring the harbours and seafronts of the picturesque East Neuk fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem and St. Monans. Discovering the historic university town of St Andrews, famous the world over for being the home of golf. You can always find something to do here, from walking along the West Sands or exploring the historic town, to visiting the its many shops and restaurants, or climbing to the top of the tower at the cathedral for a stunning view of the area. Flying a kite or building a sandcastle on the Kingsbarns Beach, a stunning and quiet Blue Flag beach. Horse riding or cycling in Tentsmuir Forest - a spectacular nature reserve where the forest goes right down to the beach. Watch cricket on Elie Beach on a sunny summer Sunday. This property makes a perfect base for walking, beaches and golf, with several excellent courses nearby and for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely part of Fife's East Neuk.
