Resort overview
Sonas sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a king size bed, and the twin bedroom has two single beds. Bed linen and towels are supplied at no extra charge. There is one newly fitted bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. The fully-equipped kitchen has been completely modernised, and contains a spacious dining area for six. The living room has an open fire, radiators, television, DVD player and radio. You will also find books, maps, and local information. The central heating throughout the cottage is controlled by electricity. Water heating is also by electricity. For the comfort of all our guests this is a smoke-free home and we are unable to accommodate pets. Grimsay is an attractive small island giving easy access to explore the Uists. Here there is a chance to see otters, dolphins, sea eagles and snowy owls. The beaches are clean and uncrowded and for bird watchers the Uists are renowned for the wide variety of birds found on the islands. The islands present a variety of landscape, sense of place, people, history and culture offering plenty to explore.
