Resort overview
Sandville self catering cottage is a traditional croft cottage situated in the village of Seilebost and refurbished to a high standard.
With modern oak kitchen, central heating and open fire in the lounge, the cottage sleeps approx 7 people with 2 double rooms, a twin room and a single room. All bed linen and towels are provided and bills are included and children are catered for with a box of toys for rainy days and adults can watch the DVDs also provided.
As a family friendly business the owners will do their best to accommodate any of your requests.
Situated in the village of Seilebost and less than a stones throw from the beach with open sea views and a truly breathtaking view looking over to the world famous Luskentyre beach, this is a stunning location, and with repeat guests who returning year after year we offer excellent facilities for adults and children alike.
Sea Harris operate scheduled daily boat trips to St Kilda & The Shiant Islands departing from Leverburgh and Tarbert during the Summer months.
The ferry port of Tarbert but is well worth a look. Situated in an excellent location to take advantage of local amenities such as cash machines and the post office, there are also a number of cafe's, restaurants and bars to sample the local fare in.
St Clement's Church (Tur Chliamainn), or the Church of Rodel as it is also known, was built from about 1520 by Alexander MacLeod of Dunvegan and Harris. It is generally thought to be the grandest medieval building anywhere in the Western Isles.
Harris Outdoor Adventure Centre is a 30 minute drive away in Leverburgh and offers all sorts of land and water based activities for you to enjoy during your stay.
Finally don't forget to visit the beautiful Luskentyre Beach. In May 2012 it was named as one of the top 100 travel experiences in the world.
