Situated in the town of Turangi on the southern shores of Lake Taupo, Turangi Leisure Lodge is ideal for fishing and outdoor enthusiasts - as well as being close to the exciting attractions that make the Waikato region a holiday playground.
There are 1 Bedroom Superior and 2 Bedroom Comfort units available, with different bedding configurations and layouts to suit individuals or groups of all sizes and ages. All units have their own kitchen or kitchenette. 1 bedroom units share a communal laundry – for a small charge. Two bedroom units have washing machines and dryers within the unit.
Explore the beautiful Taupo, Turangi and Tongariro National Park. And when it’s time to relax you can revel in our peaceful, scenic, wide open spaces and fantastic resort-style facilities. We are walking distance from the Tongariro River which is one of the best spots in New Zealand for trout fishing and white-water rafting. If skiing is on your radar, Whakapapa ski field is a 45min drive, or just a five-minute walk to catch the shuttles to Mt Ruapehu.
