Spanning 727 acres of secondary jungle, Bukit Gambang Resort City is a both a premier business destination and family-friendly resort built on the premise of “One Location, Multiple Attractions.” Bukit Gambang Water Park, the largest in East Malaysia, features a wave pool, an aqua play structure, and the longest family raft ride in Malaysia. Sprawling 138 acres of the property is the resort’s safari park, where ATVs and trams take you through wild savannahs. You’ll come face-to-face with over 30 species of wild animals, including majestic white lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. Just 30 kilometers from the resort lies Kuantan, Malaysia’s bustling tourist hub full of countless natural and historic attractions. Embark on the Kuantan River Cruise, where you’ll pass by a 500-year-old mangrove forest reserve known for its firefly sightings and estuarine plant, fish, and bird species. About five minutes from the town center you’ll stumble upon Teluk Chempedak, a charming beach featuring pine trees, casuarinas, and small boulders lining the shore. Other popular excursions include Sungai Pandan Waterfall, a multi-tier waterfall cascading down into a natural swimming pool, as well as Sungai Lembing, the historic site of the world’s deepest tin mine.
