Resort overview

The Masseria Baroni di Montesardo is an ancient 18th century farmhouse owned by the Romasi Barons of Montesardo and then passed into the hands of Nicola Marini and finally of the Gesuini family.
The farm, of  notable architectural interest for its clean and pure artisanal vocabulary, did not just represent a home, but coordinated - in a much more complex activity - residence, work and associated life.
It was inside the farm that the typically Salento agricultural production was organized and marketed.
The careful and meticulous  restoration  which took place from 2019 to 2021 under the direction of architects Gianfranco Preite and interior designer Vanna Zorzi, gave birth to a wonderful 4-star Superior  hotel  which preserves the ancient charm of the original architectural group.
The hospitality of the  35 rooms  is characterized by good taste, warmth and generosity, according to the most classic Salento tradition. Star vaults, niches carved into the stone and ancient architraves make the environment poetic and austere. The furnishings and accessories are made of Lecce stone and are the perfect combination of modernity and ancient knowledge.
The rooms, with a sober and contemporary design, are different from each other and reflect a new way of conceiving space. The minimalist, but extremely modern and elegant furniture, inserted in a purely "classic" environment, is able to combine different styles but perfectly in harmony with each other. Some of these rooms, the  Exclusive , are embellished by the presence of a hydromassage tub or a small private swimming pool (indoor or outdoor).
In the large garden , among centuries-old olive trees and majestic fig trees, the  swimming pool  invites you to lazy hours of  tranquility and relaxation , surrounded by all the comforts, by the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub, by the typically Salento essences and by the fields extending as far as the eye can see .

The immense centuries-old park  is an explosion of scents, flowers and colors and allows you to take long walks in close contact with uncontaminated nature.
Just 3 minutes away, guests have access to a  partner beach equipped  with umbrellas, comfortable sunbeds, a bar and a restaurant.
A convenient  shuttle service  connects the structure to the beach characterized by golden sand and a crystal-clear sea with Caribbean colours.In the Km 0 restaurant   the chef guides his guests to discover rich and decisive flavours, amidst a magnificent inebriation of the best aromas and flavors of Salento.
Brindisi Airport the resort is 119 km. Start on Strada Statale 379 di Egnazia e delle Terme di Torre Canne/SS379 from Via Maestri del Lavoro. Take the motorway towards Lecce, and just before Lecce follow the signs for Tangenziale Ovest, take Exit 13/B for Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, and follow the S.S. 101 and then S.S. 274 to the Presicce-Lido Marini Exit. Continue for about 7 km on the S.P. 193 in the direction of Lido Marini. About 1 km before arriving at Lido Marini you will find on your Left the unpaved road to the Masseria Baroni di Montesardo.
