Resort overview
The Carpediem Assisi Living Club is beautifully designed and maintained. The rooms are modern and spacious with many of the conveniences of home and range from one-bedroom apartments that sleep three, to two-bedroom units that sleep six. There is an outdoor pool, tennis and a sauna. Hiking and walking are the preferred modes of local transportation for most guests, and car rental is readily available for excursions beyond the mountains. Horseback riding is also available one kilometre from the resort. This Umbrian hideaway is set along the historical rich Subasio Mountain, a little more than 3 miles outside the beautifully preserved medieval town of Assisi. The magnificent Basilica of San Francesco dominates the town and a maze of narrow streets lined with ancient buildings create a network of historical landmarks within the town walls. From here you can visit Perugia, Spello, Rome (two hours), Florence (two hours), Lake Trasimeno, Gubbio, Arezzo, Orvieto and enjoy the glorious countryside.Reception hours from October through March are Monday through Friday 8 am to 2 pm, and 3 pm to 8 pm, Saturday 8 am to 10 pm, and Sunday 8 am to 1 pm, and 4 pm to 8 pm. Reception hours from April through September are Monday through Friday 8 am to 9 pm, Saturday 8 am to 10 pm, and Sunday 8 am to 1 pm, and 4 pm to 8 pm. Normal check-in day is Saturday, and check-in is not allowed after 10 pm. Unit numbers with a '*' are attics, which means the ceilings are low and sloped.
The air conditioning does not work in the following units 7/A*, 7/B*, 7/C1,7/D1,7/C,7/D,10/44,10/45*,10/46*.
Heating is available from 15 October onwards.
