Resort overview
The Residence dei Cavalleggeri in Tuscany, Italy comprises of ninety apartments in seven buildings separated from the beach by a shady pine wood.
All apartments are furnished with functionality and style, complete with a kitchenette, four hob electric stove, large refrigerator, direct dial telephone, Satellite television, safe, ceiling fan, bathroom with shower. There is a parking space per apartment and a numbered shade.
The Resort is equipped with two swimming pools one for adults and one for children, a tennis court, a bar next to the swimming pool, a restaurant bar close to the beach and a reception. The nearby sandy beach is equipped with beach beds, beach umbrellas and deck chairs, for which there is a charge.
Residenza Dei Cavalleggeri in Italy is located on the Tuscan coast, in front of the Island of Elba, near Populonia and the Gulf of Baratti.
Near the resort you will find a grocery shop and a restaurant/ pizzeria.
The Resort is in a central position for touring Tuscany, an excellent base for exploring Florence, Pisa, Siena or Volterra. Throughout the peaceful Tuscan countryside are dotted unspoilt, medieval villages, with Pisa only an hours drive away and Florence and Siena two hours away.
In the immediate vicinity you will find Castagneto Carducci, 10 km, a medieval village and ancient dominion of the Gherardesca. Suvereto 18 km, with a splendid Town Hall dating back to 200. Terme di Caldana, 8 km, for spa treatments with mud and sulphurous waters. Rocca di San Silvestro 8 km, a village founded in the running of the tenth century, part of the Mining-Archaeological Park of San Silvestro. Populonia, 10 km, overlooking the old village with wonderful views over the Gulf of Baratti where you can visit the extensive Etruscan necropolis.
Bolgheri, 20 km, with the Cypress Avenue immortalized by the poet Giosuè Carducci.
