Resort overview
The resort consists of two traditional Tuscan buildings dating from the early 1700's that have been lovingly restored and converted into 12 well equipped self-catering apartments of various sizes to accommodate 2 - 6 people. The apartments overlook a lovely large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a terrace for sunloungers and plenty of green space. On site there is also a small health centre with sauna, Turkish bath, gym and massage rooms. The resort features a lovely golf practice course that covers an area of approximately 3 hectares, with a length of approximately 220 metres, that sits perfectly within the natural beauty of the local Tuscan countryside. The practice course, open all year, is composed of 4 covered 9 open practice points on synthetic grass. Near the starting point there is a 9-hole 160 sqm synthetic grass Putting Green (created by Brilliant8 following the design of Nicklaus Design©). Golf clubs are available for players to rent. The pleasant clubhouse contains changing rooms, a reception area and an equipment room. Enjoy hiking along various trails that cross the estate or relaxing by the pool. Reservations for museum visits cooking courses, bicycle rentals, excursions to surrounding areas, horse riding at the stable a few kilometres away, tennis and golf are all available on site. Le Sodole Country Resort is in the centre of Tuscany, approximately 30 km from Pisa and 50 km from Florence. The area, characterised by gentle hills covered with vineyards and forests, is the ideal place for those who want to easily reach art towns, such as Lucca, Volterra, San Miniato, Siena and San Gimignano. The Tyrrhenian coast can be reached in 40 minutes by car. Le Sodole has 12 spacious apartments, furnished in rustic but elegant style. They look out on to the beautiful Tuscan countryside across vineyards or out towards the landscaped grounds and lovely pool area.
