The resort can only be reached via 6km of unpaved road and in the area, there is no signal for mobile phones. Nestled in a valley in the Umbrian countryside La Casella Eco Resort offers an ecological choice for holidaymakers who want to feel at one with the natural habitat around them. The closest town is 15 minutes by car. Originally an 870-acre rural agricultural village, owned by a single landowner, La Casella was converted into a Vacation Resort by refurbishing the abandoned village houses following strict conservation criteria to preserve Umbria’s heritage. Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby. Enjoy the tranquillity of the extensive countryside that surrounds the resort or join the fun of the activities in the main building. At La Casella Eco Resort you can unwind and relax in the Natural SPA or do as much or as little as you wish. La Casella is situated in Ficulle in the Umbria region in central Italy. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with unpaved roads in a valley full of poplars, oaks, and larch trees and with a stream running through the property. If you have a car, the area could be used as a starting point for an excursion to Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Siena, Assisi, and Montepulciano. You could also take a day trip either to Firenze or Rome, both within a three-hour drive. The resort has a number of horses and qualified staff to provide riding lessons and organize hiking and excursions.
Units with a Sunday start date are 300 m from the reception area, and units with a Saturday start date are either 1200 m or 1500 m from the reception area. The reception desk closes at 8:30 pm. If arriving after 8:30 pm, guests must notify the resort in advance and pay a mandatory late check-in fee of 50 EU. No mobile phone coverage is available at the resort.
