The Kabini Dam, which is situated between the villages of Bichanahalli and Bidarahalli and is approximately 6km away from Sargur town in Heggadadevana Kote Taluk, Mysore district, Karnataka, is 2,284 ft (696 m) long and has an original gross storage capacity of 19.52 tmcft.
