Sterling Corbett
Resort overview
Sterling Tree Top Corbett National Park is situated in the Himalayan foothills, amidst forested mountains that range from 400m to 1,210m in height. Through most of the National Park flows the Ramganga River. It is said that a community lived on the banks of this river in ancient times. It is believed that these people cleared away a tiny part of the forest, and made the area their home. Evidence in the form of terracotta figurines and ruined temples further corroborate the fact that the Ramganga Valley was home to an ancient civilization.
Explore wildlife or simply enjoy bird watching in Ramnagar which is situated in the Nainital district of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand state on the banks of Kosi River. At an elevation of 345-mts above sea level, it is not only the commencement point of Kumaon hills but it is also one of the gateways of renowned Jim Corbett National Park. Ramnagar is connected with accessible roads as well as railway networks. Its proximity with Corbett National Park and Nainital makes it a very popular destination.
