22 The Coombe at Penstowe Park near Bude in Cornwall is a fully equipped, two bedroom, detached lodge to accommodate up to four guests. The lodge is in a quiet position with superb views towards the coast where guests can experience great sunsets.

Accommodation: Entrance is via the conservatory with a three piece cane suite. There is an open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen. The lounge area has a three piece suite, coffee table, Television, Hard Disc Recorder with Freeview, DVD player, CD Player/Radio, bookcase and electric heater. The lounge looks out over fields and woods towards distant sea views, as do the conservatory and outside patio. The dining area has an extending table and six chairs, the kitchen has an electric cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small icebox and a microwave. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, triple door wardrobe with drawers below, electric heater and hairdryer. Stored under the bed is a travel cot and high chair, please provide bedding for the travel cot. Bedroom 2 has twin beds,  wardrobe space, a large chest of drawers and an electric heater. The shower room is fully tiled with a walk-in shower cubicle and power shower, washbasin, toilet and an electric towel rail.

Outside there is a patio with picnic bench and a stone built BBQ.

On site there is an old manor house, which has WiFi. There is also an indoor swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, tennis courts, sports hall, gym, indoor bowls and restaurants and entertainment in season. Please note charges are made for all these facilities except the entertainment. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool available in the summer free of charge, the Stables Pub and laundry room.
Please note that pets are not allowed to be left alone in the lodge.

22 The Coombe is located at Penstowe Park near Bude in Cornwall. The village of Kilkhampton is a fifteen minute walk from the lodge where there are two pubs, several shops, a Post Office, a pizza eat-in/takeaway, a fish and chip shop and a Chinese take-away.

Penstowe Park is three miles from Sandymouth Beach and five miles from Bude, with its beautiful beaches, canal, cliff walks and shops.

There are numerous places of interest to visit locally including Hartland Quay, Clovelly, Atlantic Village and Bideford with the Tarka Trail for walking and cycling. South of Bude are Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow with the Camel Trail, again with plenty of walking and cycling. On the south coast are Fowey, the Eden Project and plenty of beautiful gardens. 22 The Coombe makes an excellent base for touring this lovely part of Cornwall, a car being essential for full exploration of the area.
